A DIY first

While I am not mechanically inclined or overly handy, out necessity, practicality, and frugality, the need to summon my DIY alter-ego has become essential recently. The latest challenge; sharpening my Husqvarna chain saw. Rather than continuing to ship my chainsaw off to the local repair shop and fork over $15 to have it sharpened, I figured this would be a great time to pick up a new skill and do it myself.

A quick search on youtube yielded this great video clip from Stihl. I’ll report back on my results this weekend.

  1. Good luck! Hopefully your DIY won’t cost you a new chain…. The video is thorough.
