An ode to Labor Day

Usually after a long weekend, most people dread going to back to the office. After this weekend, I am ready to go and hide behind my desk for a few days.

Lead by the expert guidance and assistance from my father-in-law, the weekend kicked off with the installation of an external dryer vent, followed by installing a gutter on the front porch, which was to not to be overshadowed by repairing the rotted front porch and concluded with changing of a shower head.

Mix in three visits to the Home Depot and side trips to Target, Stop & Shop and Dykes Lumber, I am offically exhausted.

To say I labored during the Labor Day weekend would be an understatement.
